US History

This course chronologically examines themes and events in American history. It begins with an overview of key events prior to the Civil War and continues with an emphasis on the study of political, social, economic and religious issues from the Civil War to the present. Students will study some of the decisive issues that have shaped the United States. This course emphasizes the ways in which Christianity has influenced our country.
