Pre-Algebra

This course is designed to automate the upper-level skills of arithmetic while gently introducing more abstract concepts. It concentrates on fractions, mixed numbers, decimal numbers, and teaching simple word problems such as percent and ratios. There is also a study of geometry such as perimeter, area, and volume. The course is designed to teach students to be successful mathematical problem solvers.
